By downloading, accessing, or using the Orris application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Orris is a wellness application designed to guide users through breathing exercises, specifically the box breathing technique. The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

3. Medical Disclaimer

The breathing exercises provided in the App are for general wellness purposes only. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness routine, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, are pregnant, or have respiratory issues.

Important: Stop using the App immediately if you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, chest pain, or any discomfort during breathing exercises.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Using the App safely and responsibly
  • Stopping exercises if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring you are in a safe environment while using the App
  • Not using the App while driving, operating machinery, or in other situations requiring attention

5. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy
  • Changes to subscription pricing will be communicated in advance

6. Privacy and Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Orris and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the App's name, logo, or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on the App

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App:

  • To transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Business interruption
  • Any other commercial damages or losses

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orris and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Orris operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration.
